• The next generation of Azure Alerts has arrived (Kiran Madnani) - This is good news, alerts are an important piece of any serious system.
• Know your Azure Subscription Quota and Usage (Wriju Ghosh) - Because waiting until it breaks is probably not the option you are looking for... It's a good idea to know your quotas first.

Programming

• A Beginner’s Guide to Testing Blockchain Applications (Kayleigh Oliver) - You have a project that could use blockchain and you are asking yourself what's next? This post is for you.
• Building Container Images Securely on Kubernetes (Jessie Frazelle) - Excellent post that digs into some security process with containers.
• Entity Framework Core and NHibernate: Understand the Similarities and Differences (Ricardo Peres) - Interesting comparison between two well knows framework at this new age of .Net Core.
• MVC vs Razor Pages - A quick comparison (Jon Hilton) - Interesting post that compares two architecture. However, all the unit-test and mocking/ dependency injection were not included...Nevertheless it worth reading f you hare new in .Net Core development.
• Making an Azure static website EVEN MORE secure (Julian M Bucknall) - This post is like a pleasant journey in the security word. You will probably learn a lot, just like the author did (and myself obviously)

• Azure Cosmos DB training webinars - Cosmo DB is gaining in popularity. It's time to boost your skill check this webinar/ on-demand training.
• Capturing Power BI queries using DAX Studio (Marco Russo) - Great post that gets us started on ways to find optimization for our Power Bi. Not enough people know about DaxStudio, have a look it's free!
• Coming soon to Power BI: Common Data Service for Analytics (Arun Ulag) - Looking forward to trying that as it definitely looks promising.

Book

Making Time (Bob Clagett) - I really enjoyed reading that book. I've been watching Bob's YouTube Channel for a while. ANd was happy to ear about his new book. In Making Time, a little bit like in his videos, Bob explains how he build stuff... but this time instead of a furniture or a room, it's a new career/ business. A short book (88 pages) but a lot of fun.

• Simple APIs With Microsoft Flow And Azure Functions | LINQ to Fail (Aaron Powell ) - Geniusly simple! I didn't think to use those like that, but now that will be my go-to scenario for so many things.... With Flow, Logic App and so may others.

• Announcing the general availability of Azure App Service diagnostics (Jennifer Lee) - A fantastic tool that I hope all web App users will use.
• Lift and Shift, Migrating Nerd Dinner to the cloud using Docker (Shayne Boyer) - Interesting post that shows step by step how to do a real lift and shift to Azure.
• Logic Apps Management solution updated – search runs by tracked properties, bulk re-submit and more… (Sumit Kumar) - Nice little add-ons that will help us manage our LogicApps.
• Microsoft Cognitive Services updates for Microsoft Connect(); (Microsoft Azure) - Nice tutorial on how to build and train your custom image classifier.
• Transforming your VMware environment with Microsoft Azure (Corey Sanders) - Pretty cool tools that remove a lot of pain when we start thinking about migrating one or more VMs.

Programming

• Introducing Microsoft Coco Framework for Blockchain (Chris Pietschmann) - Coco framework will helps to manage a few important points in a business solution using BlockChain, more to come in 2018.
• Lightweight bundling, minifying, and compression, for CSS and JavaScript with ASP.NET Core and Smidge (Scott Hanselman) - Another (or rediscovery of a) great minifier for .Net core.
• Trying out new .NET Core Alpine Docker Images (Scott Hanselman) - Very interesting post, it'nice to see how one great tech complement another that well.

Databases

• Azure SQL Databases Disaster Recovery 101 (Xiaochen Wu) - One of the best posts a read on the topic. I'm not sure if I can sale the alien part to a client, but other than that very clear. lol

• Create flexible ARM templates using conditions and logical functions (Kristian Nese) - I had so much oooh and aaah reading this post. Now ARM template won't necessarily be spaghetti.
• 6 Challenges Partners and Customers Face When Moving to the Cloud - Microsoft Partner Network (Tonny Siemons) - Excellent post that talks about real problems (situations) of real enterprises.
• An Introduction to Blockchain with Mark Russinovich (Mark Russinovich, Seth Juarez) - Great video from Mark Russinovich himself.
• Azure Functions – Prepare for continuous delivery (Mikael Krief) - The first post of a processing series, the focus of this one is all about creating our project from scratch in Visual Studio.
• Azure Tips and Tricks Part 10 - Quickly Connect to a Linux VM with SSH (Michael Crump) - Another nice tips and tricks post, and this one contain one I personally discovered very recently concerning ssh on windows.
• Overview on Web App for Containers and Azure App Service on Linux (Apurva Joshi) - Now that GA nothing should stop us. This post is a great overview of this Azure service.
• Why Healthcare Is Moving To The Cloud (But Isn't There Yet) (Martin Gontovnikas) - Very interesting article that explains few things from real life.

Databases

• Cloud Database? NoSQL? Nah, just use CSVs and CsvHelper (Scott Hanselman) - You are right Scott, keep it super simple sound waaaaaay better; love it.

Miscellaneous

• Ways to get involved in the local tech community (5 of 5) (Jason Haley) - This post close a nice series about the community. Looking forward to seeing you at a meetup...
