• Visual Studio Code Tools for Azure Revamped (David Ramel) - Time flies! Five years already... And probably the first extension I personally ever installed.

Programming

• Who should mark PR comments as resolved? (Dan Clarke) - In your team who is doing it?

• 14 Containerization Use Cases: Hit a Home Run with Containers (Hiren Dhaduk) - Nice list of real-life story and situation where docker shines and empower.

• Adding a CLA Bot to Your GitHub Repository (Calvin) - This seems simple to do... I assumed adding a bot in GitHub was more complicated than that. Nice post.

• Keep your experiments separate (Jessica Joy Kerr) - This post shares good practices when adding features to our app... Because we never know the full impact when we start.

• Static code analysis with NDepend (Andreas Nesheim) - I'm always curious about those tools. I think they could also be useful when connected to your CICD and automation processes.

• When WebAssembly Replaces Docker (B. Cameron Gain) - Interesting post that explains why WASM is indeed more interesting than docker in some scenarios.

Miscellaneous

• 5 great books for the summer (Bill Gates) - There are a few books that I put on my to-read list. There you go.

• 2 Local machines 1 Dev VM (John Friesen) - A nice tutorial that can help us get started and understand how things work.

• An Introduction to Azure Media Services - The Wit and Ramblings of David Giard (David Giard) - Media services is a gem that not enough people know. Nice little introduction post.

• Azure Storage - Zip multiple files using Azure Functions (Josef Ottosson) - Great project. I like the sharing of the thoughts or questions encounter during that build. We are all eventually meet them too.

• How To Calculate Pricing In Azure (Mahesh Chand) - Nice quick refresh or quick start. Cost is such an important topic.

• Integration tests using Azure Storage emulator and .NET Core in Azure DevOps (Dominique St-Amand) - A really interesting tutorial. I'm definitely bookmarking that one for later.

• Introducing Azure Health Bot—an evolution of Microsoft Healthcare Bot with new functionality (Lili Cheng) - Very inspiring to see the evolution of what bots are able to do.

Programming

• Advanced TypeScript Tips & Tricks - DEV Community 👩‍💻👨‍💻 (Dino Kacavenda) - Very very interesting tips. As a new TypeScript coder, I found this really reassuring to know there is a way.

• Save the Date for DockerCon Live 2021! - Docker Blog (Matt Carter) - If you are a container user, or just thinking about it... Reserve the date.

• How to Use Query Strings in Blazor WebAssembly (Marinko Spasojevic) - Nice tutorial. Very detailed.

Miscellaneous

• Productive (And Realistic) Ways To Optimize Your Space For Remote Work (Genevieve Michaels) - Nice post that gives a lot of suggestions to make that space at home more comfortable and pleasing.

• 4 best practices to help you integrate security into DevOps (null) - Fantastic post that shows how, in fact, security is accessible to all with simple practices.
• Creating a Chatbot with Microsoft Azure QnA Maker and Alexa (James Ashley) - This post explains all the steps about a pretty cool project.
• How to Schedule Cosmos DB Data Processing With Azure Functions (Jason Roberts) - Cool demo with a time trigger (scheduled) Azure function.

Programming

• Views, Partial Views, and Layouts in ASP.NET Core MVC (Code Maze) - Very simple, but yet complete Asp.Net MVC tutorial. Perfect place to get started.
• Getting Started with Docker in Visual Studio 2019 (Wael Kdouh) - This is a nice tutorial to get started with Containers.
• Visual Studio Code Remote Development over SSH to a Raspberry Pi is butter (Scott Hanselman) - VS Code is simplifying the life of all IoT developers. So cool.

• It's Time ⌚ to Talk 5535756803! The Day of Your Presentation (Jeremy Likness) - Awesome post that is load with advice and experience.

• Penny Pinching in the Cloud: Lift and Shift vs App Services - When a VM in the Cloud isn't what you want (Scott Hanselman) - This post is about how to transform a lift and shift to a real cloud application. And for what I know it represents 90% of our starts in the cloud.
  
• Serverless like a Superhero with Azure Functions (Shayne Boyer) - Cool tutorial about leveraging Azure function to build an API.
  
• Turn your Postman Collection into a Microsoft integration (Asavari Tayal) - I just love it. How could I've not thought about it myself?

Programming

• Everything You Need to Build A Chatbot (Sage Franch) - Great post to read before starting to code your first bot.
  
• Ruby on Rails on Azure App Service (Web Sites) with Linux (and Ubuntu on Windows 10) (Scott Hanselman) - Interesting post on how to get Ruby to work using today's tooling... on Windows.

Miscellaneous

• Designing a Conversation (Alexandre Brisebois) - Interesting post that digs into the paradox where "us", humans have been communicated since our beginnings but still have trouble doing it, now we want to plan ahead and architect communication with machines.
  
• Introduction to Microsoft To-Do (Gunnar Peipman) - Interesting app Microsoft finally did his ToDo service.

• Azure Functions Tools Roadmap (Andrew B Hall) - Interesting post that explains why we should prefer the Azure function template over the VS2015 tooling.
• Monitoring errors in Azure WebJobs with the ErrorTrigger extension (Vivien Chevallier) - Nice tutorial, with the full solution available on Github, that explains how to catch the error in our Azure webjobs.
• Unmasking your swagger with proxies in Azure Functions (Shayne Boyer) - This post explains how to use Azure functions Proxy to improve the developers' experience.
• Use a container to show your function swagger (Shayne Boyer) - Nice quick tutorial to get a more professional structure easily.

Programming

• Dockerizing Nerd Dinner: Part 1, Running a Legacy ASP.NET App in a Windows Container (Elton Stoneman) - Interesting walkthrough where a legacy application is packaged in a Docker container.
• Dockerizing Nerd Dinner: Part 2, Connecting ASP.NET to SQL Server (Elton Stoneman) - Second step in a great tutorial that goes further than the usual hello word, showing how to migrate an application into a multi-container solution.
• Easy data generation with Faker.Data (Guy Barrette) - A quick introduction to a nice little gem that saves us a lot of time.
• Getting Started With Chart.js: Line and Bar Charts (Monty Shokeen) - I've use Chart.js in a project recently, and should I had this great tutorial would have saved me a lot of time.
• Using memory cache in ASP.NET Core (Gunnar Peipman) - Great quick tutorial to know how to setup cache and distributed cache (required in cloud solution).

Miscellaneous

• Bots are the new Apps – Part 2 (Alexandre Brisebois) - This post asks a lot of questions. .Bots are could be very powerful but are they easy to build? Iterate, test, fail, learn, and try again.

• Building Your First Bot using Microsoft Bot Framework - Nice tutorial to get started with the bot framework... An yes, you should care, because bots are the new apps.
  
• How to use Power BI Embedded with AspNetCore - Oh yeah! Quick and simple.
  
• StrathWeb. A free flowing web tech monologue. - Nice post that explains different paths (good and bad) to declare a controller in Asp.Net Core and explains why.

Databases

• Connect to Azure SQL Database V12 via Redirection (Kun Cheng) - Very interesting post about how to achieve great performance with our Azure solution.
  
• Improved Automatic Tuning boosts your Azure SQL Database performance (Vladimir Ivanovic) - Definitely something to try at the minimum... It looks fantastic.

Miscellaneous

• Who am I really logged in as on Visual Studio Team Services? (Willy-P. Schaub) - Nice tips... That will solve so many questions.
  
• You might be a creative if … (docjamesw@gmail.com) - A post to read in the morning. It's like a little pill of energy.
  
• You’re doing it wrong: Demos (Gil Zilberfeld) - Nice quick post that helps us to definitely pick a side when the question "Should we demo that?" popped.
