• .NET Upgrade Assistant Now Supports Upgrading to Centralized Package Mangement (McKenna Barlow) - Cool tool that become even better I just wish you had an option to run it from let's say Linux

• Inspektor Gadget (DevOps and Docker Talk: Cloud Native Interviews and Tooling) - THe first time I heard about Inspektor Gadget was in an episode of Open at Microsoft. I don't use much Kubernetes, but that will be part of my toolbox when I do. Great security, troubleshooting, and observability utility.

• DevOps for Beginners: A Complete Roadmap to Get Started (Harshhaa Vardhan Reddy) - This post is a really good overview of DevOps. If your are interested to he topic but don't know where to start,that one is for you.

• How to Build Frontend Apps 10x Faster (Anmol Baranwal) - An interesting tools that you install that act as middle man and helps while developing and testing.

• Switch Branches in Git Without Losing Your Work (Asad Bukhari) - Quick little tip to save time with Git.

• Incorporate GitHub Copilot into your daily flow (Rhea,Sinem,Mika) - Copilot go more accessible!This post summarizes how Copilot will be easier to use with suggested code. That's a good example of product feedback well used, everybody wins!

• 5 Must-Have NuGet Packages for .NET Developers: Elevate Your Code! (Ken Fedorov) - Nice post that shares indeed useful packages.

• Blazor and .NET 8: How I Built a Fast and Flexible Website (Jeffrey T. Fritz) - optimisation is often a step that people forgets, but it's one that is extremely rewarding.This series seams very interesting, we will s| more of those in the notes...

• Warp, the modern terminal, is now available for Linux (Aloke Desai, David Stern) - I didn't heard of that terminal before. It looks interesting! Looking forward to try it.

• Using Visual Studio Code for .NET MAUI Development (Vijay Anand) - it's incredible the progress that was done in such little time I'm looking forward to try it.

• The FAST and the Fluent: A Blazor story - .NET Blog (Vincent Baaij) - Nice post that teach us a bit of history. I'm fan of Fluent UI and Blazor...and more recently of the Fluent UI Blazor library. I think it's a must for all Blazor developers.

• GraphQL vs. REST—Which is Better for API Design? (Hassan Djirdeh) - Pretty cool comparison of different type/design of APIs.

• What's new for the Microsoft Fluent UI Blazor components 4.4 (Vincent Baaij) - Nice new components. Its going fast!

• Dev Tunnels: A Game Changer for Mobile Developers - .NET Blog (James Montemagno) - Dev Tunnel is definitely a incredible tool.I used it for debugging connector in Power Platform and there is no doubts it will help with mobile app...No more guesses debug with the real thing.

• Using Azure Service Bus in the wild (Paul Michaels) - This excellent post introduces the Service Bus as a crucial piece when working in a bigger system.

Programming

• Do I need Kubernetes? | Cloud Native Computing Foundation (Dave Blakey) - A nice little tour of kubernetes.

• Improved doc management personalization - Visual Studio Blog (microsoft.com) - This post list a few new features and customization, like a bigger dirty file notification.

• The VS Code Server (Grace Taylor) - I personally heard about it for the first time Friday on Clarkio live stream. This project is a fantastic idea! To get access, fill out the short form at the end of the post.

• Writing .NET Application Services for Kubernetes (Mike Hadlow) - I never used Kubernetes, but always found it interesting. This post is a gold mine of advice and best practices about how to plan your multi-container app.

• DevOps Release Management Best Practices (Stephen Watts ) - Nice post that shares a lot of great ideas and practices.

• Understanding Have I Been Pwned's Use of SHA-1 and k-Anonymity (Troy Hunt) - A very interesting post that explains some security limitations and the reason behind some technological choices.

• The Best C# .NET Web Application Tech Stack: Choosing The Front End (Michael Shpilt) - Nice post that describes all C# frontends with their pros and cons.

• ApiController Attribute in ASP.NET Core Web API (Code Maze) - This post contained many best practices and detailed explanations to get a great API and make sure the user experience is the best possible.

• Continuous Integration Vs. Continuous Delivery: Know the Differences & Draw a Line (Hiren Dhaduk) - This post is very interesting as it describes both parts of the flow, and lists the benefices and challenges.

• Incremental ASP.NET Migration Tooling Preview 2 (Mike Rousos) - The second preview already! Things are looking good...

• Understanding your middleware pipeline in .NET 6 with the Middleware Analysis package (Andrew Lock) - This post introduces a nice package to have better visibility into our code. Nice.

• New Resources to Get Started with .NET MAUI - .NET Blog (Matt Soucoup) - Are you planning to learn something new this summer? I suggest you .NET MAUI, to build an application that can go everywhere. This post shares tons of references to get you started.

• Asynchronous Programming in C# (Sukhrob) - A good post that takes the time to explain the why.Why we should complexify our code to make it asynchronous.
• ASP.NET Core CRUD with NoSQL: Part 3 (Matthew Groves) - We continue to learn, this time, a bit more about the sql+ and the create of the crud API.
• All Roads Lead Back to Infrastructure as Code (Joe Duffy) - From where it started to where it is going this very detailed post covers it all.
• Bringing code navigation to communities (Patrick Thomson) - This is really interesting... Looking forward to read more about it.
• Major update to the PowerShell Extension for Visual Studio Code (Sydney Smith) - Ok wow... I need a PowerShell script right now just to try that new version; it looks amazing!
• Visual Studio on an ultra-wide monitor - Visual Studio Blog (Mads Kristensen) - It's not a "problem" I particularly have because I used 2 regular monitors, but I heard about it. It's really nice to see that so many possibilities are available to us.

Podcasts

• Docker Desktop for Linux is Here! (DevOps and Docker Talk) - Great episode so much energy! Discussion about the brand new Docker Desktop for Linux, who to report bugs, ask for a new feature, and the DockerCon!
• Épisode 15 - Gengis Khan (Les Pires Moments de l'Histoire) - I keep those episodes very preciously as a threat, and this one was such a good one! It's in French and the topic is the biggest empire that ever existed... No, it's the Romain.
• How to Productively Show Off What You've Learned (Modern Mentor) - Nice episode. That's a good idea I should share what I think of books and posts I read! ;) I guess I'm not too bad.
• Comparing Infrastructure-as-Code with Chris Klug (.NET Rocks!) - Terraform, Pulumi, ARM, and Bicep... All those are mentioned because it's all about Infrastructure-as-Code. Interesting talk about the different options we have.

Miscellaneous

• Understanding the Role of a Developer Evangelist (Karl Hughes) - As a cloud advocate, I don't remember how often I explained what is my role. This 360-degree post covers all angles and provides a really good answer.

• 13 Visual Studio 2022 Tips & Tricks (Claudio Bernasconi) - Wow! So many goods ones! How many did you learn in this post?

• Five Reasons To Master Git On The Command Line (zwischenzugs) - I said it in the past and will say it again...I learn a new command each time I read a Git-related post... So powerful.

• How to Access Query Strings in Minimal APIs (Shawn Wildermuth) - Those posts are the best! When we can not only learn the solution but also from the tests along the way. Great post.

• Working on two git branches at once with git worktree (Andrew Lock) - Wow, there are so many things possible with Git. Personally, I think I would just work in containers... But it's nice that other options are possible for other scenarios.

• Running a developer community (Software Engineering Unlocked) - Wow! Very impressed by all that structure and great community. So inspiring.
• How to do an Instagram Giveaway that Actually Works with Derek Videll (Influencer Entrepreneurs: Blogging & Social Media Tips) - That was a good one. Doing a giveaway is way harder than it looks.
• 142: Kevin Evans on Building Your Azure Cloud Career (CloudSkills.fm) - Very interesting discussion.

• Introducing new Git features to Visual Studio 2022 (Taysser Gherfal) - Wow, many impressive features are available straight from Visual Studio.

• Polymorphism in C# (Code Maze) - Oh nice, it's been a while since I read such a good post about this concept.

• Codeless != Designless (Steve Fenton) - Of course, always design/ plan/ at east napkin drawing before starting putting the pieces together.

• Using Minimal APIs in ASP.NET Core Razor Pages (Mike Brind) - Okay, okay, I think I could get used to this new minimal approach thing. I will need to code a little by myself first, but thanks to this post I have a good idea.
